CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR CHEERLEADERS!!!

The novice cheer team for the Wranglers practiced most of the season on an elementary play ground and danced to music from a parent's boom box. They practiced at times,  4 times a week and worked extremely hard to perfect a routine that the coaches worked endlessly to put together. All this to prepare for the Texas Youth Football & Cheer Association State Cheer Competition, with girls and boys from all over the state competing. Though they had no special training or professional choreographed routine, the girls went out and performed flawlessly. Against all odds the girls won 2nd place in their division on November 8, 2009 at Strahan Coliseum, San Marcos!! The intermediate girls squad also competed and while they did not place this year, showed heart and pride in themselves. This is a great testament to the boys and girls of the Wrangler organization and the confidence given to them by the Coaching staff.
